I’m a retired scientists living with my husband in rural Southwest Nova Scotia, but we are originally from the United Kingdom. We’ve always loved nature, been keen birders and enjoyed travelling. In addition, I’m fascinated by history and archaeology, so we’ve been able to combine both in many of the trips and holidays we’ve taken. I thought I’d like to share a few of the photos I’ve taken, over the years. I’m not a photographer, but we’ve been to some marvellous places!
Some of these might be pre-digital (I got my first digital camera in 2002), but before that I had numerous film cameras, going back to 1971 (yes, I am that old!). I intend to pick a day, any day, and tell the story of what happened to me (us) on that date. It might be recent, it might be ancient, it should be fun to see.
As a start, this is a pre-digital scanned photo of me, looking over the cliffs at Formentor Peninsula, Majorca, back in 1991-wish I still looked like that! Thanks to Mark, my husband, for the picture.
